 Japanese deep house producer Stereociti returns for more soulful excursions through the deep, courtesy of the newly inaugurated Waveguide imprint. Real name Ken Sumitani, the Berlin based producer was first discovered by the legend Mike Huckaby around a decade ago and has since become a staple of the Mojuba imprint: which has presented several of his EPs -not to mention two albums including last year's excellent 'Lost Land'. Sumitani serves up some immersive and atmospheric dub techno on the A side, the first being a tough and dancefloor ready affair, while "Motion 2" gets more subterranean and hypnotic - we particularly enjoyed the glacial and cavernous qualities of this highlight. On the flip, feel the evocative and melodic power of "Motion 3" until the final offering brings the power with this Luke Hess sounding groove that features some truly sublime dub chord action
