Prism was one of many aliases used by legendary Japanese producer Susumu Yokota before his untimely passing. Fallen Angel LP was originally released in 1997 on Japanese techno label Sublime and features more amazing works that we will hope get greater recognition the second time around on this re-issue. The album flows through a variety of captivating moods and grooves; there's the emotive deep house of "Flicker" or "Decalogue", critical beats worked to perfection on "Tears Of Nymph" or "Black Or Color" (drum and bass was all the rage back then) plus the breathtaking ambient excursion that you'd usually attribute to Yokota like on the wonderful "Crystal Mist". Essential listening.
