( PF 003 ) DIRTY CHANNELS / DON CARLOS - Adriatico (12") Polifonic Germany

 The third release here by Milan by-way-of-Puglia, Italy label Polifonic (who present the festival of the same name) is courtesy of Varese legend Don Carlos and homeboy Dirty Channels - who team up for the magnificent "Adriatico". First up is the swing-fuelled spiritual life music of the Paradise mix reminiscent of classic Prescription Records, which is followed up later on the flip by a slo-mo cosmic exploration of Afro sounds on the remix by Studio Barnhus' Axel Boman. More classic Stateside sounds follow on the groovy "Tirrena" which goes for that Nu-Groove sound of old.
