Dutch producer Ferro has been delivering razor sharp reduced grooves for labels such as Valioso and Kina over the past few years, but now he makes the leap to Lessizmore with an EP that further pushes his highly detailed sound into interesting directions. "Laura" may have a touch rhythmic structure but its overall mood is delicate, with hushed touches of melody lingering between the beats. "The Girl That Fed" is more explicit in its playful nature, riding a strong swing laden with sonic delights from harp strums to sub bass and unidentified audio matter. "The Wrong Wolf" is a faster, tense minimal workout and then "Most Of Her Bread" finishes the EP off with a slice of oddball techno.
