Following a nine-month break, Leo Pol returns with another pleasingly varied collection of deep house treats. The Parisian producer begins in confident mood, doffing a cap to both classic New Jersey garage and Inner City era Detroit house on the bustling "Montreal Cotton Candy". He reaches for the filters on the warm, hazy and high-tempo bump of "The Luuve Juice" [sic], before expertly combining rubbery acid lines, positive synthesizer melodies, electro-tinged house beats and a sleazy vocal from pal Mark on loved-up EP highlight "Sex In The Kitchen". Finally, he showcases his sampling capabilities via the funk-tinged deep house hustle of closer "Chantal", featuring his own distinctively Parisian vocals.
