DokutokuFrench enfant terrible Doubtingthomas is back, following up some terrific releases on the likes of Eastenderz, Amam and Metroline Limited and where he continues his forays deep into the exotic on the Tandem EP. This one is courtesy of Berlin based Dokutoku. He merges minimal tech-house with neoclassical aesthetics in impressive fashion on the title track, while "Good Words" ventures deeper into the afterhours with its incredibly hypnotic polyrhythms and mesmerising tones throughout. Finally on the flip, we have a thumping remix by fellow Frenchman Alexkid which is more on a minimal deep house tip, but doesn't deviate too much from the original - which we can appreciate. More fine work from of the scene's most dynamic live acts.
